  • Pictured here are Jim (born 1903) and his spouse Ida. They lived in the St. Leonard, NB area and had 17 children; 10 girls and 7 boys.

  • Pauline Mazerolle and Edouard Poitras golden anniversary photo. Pauline was born in 1905, daughter to Pierre and Adele Rossignol from the St. Leonard area. Pauline and Edouard had 12 children.

  • Lionel Mazerolle and Agathe Martin’s house is situated on the same lot as Camille-Elie Mazerolle’s house. Lionel was born in 1909, son of Denis et Julie Sirois and grand-son of Camille-Elie Mazerolle. Lionet and Agathe had 16 children.

  • This is Camille-Elie Mazerolle’s house. He was born in 1936 and his parents were Frederic et Modeste Lizottet who lived in Siegas, Madawaska County, NB. Camille-Elie was married twice; first mariage to Christine Theriault et second mariage to Elodie Theriault. Two children were born from the first mariage and seven from the second.

  • This photo is from Kingsclear near French Village situated near Fredericton, NB. French Village is where 4 sons of Joseph (born 1711) lived after the deportation : Joseph (born 1739), Mathurin (born 1749), Pierre (born 1753) and Paul (born 1754). The other son Simon (born 1743) settled in Louisiana.

  • Jean-Louis Mazerolle (born 1900) son of Alexandre and Olive Robichaud of Pointe-Sapin. Jean-Louis married Hermine Roy, settled in Sturgeon-Falls, Ontario and had 12 children.

  • Rejean and Imelda Lachance, son of Jean-Louis et Hermine Roy.

  • This is Marguerite Mazerolle’s (bron 1797) tombstone. She was the daugther of Mathurin and Josette Mercure. Marguerite was married to Robert Noble. This tombstone is located in the old cemetary situated in the parish of Baie des Vents (Bay du Vin) near Baie Ste-Anne. This little cemetary was on Paul Mazerolle’s lot. There are now only two tomstones left in this cemetary.

  • This is William Manzerolle’s home (born 1899) located in Shippagan. William is the son of Pierre Mazerolle and Henriette Hebert and he was married to Yvonne Goguen.

  • Photo of Yvonne Manzerolle (born 1903), daughter of Pierre Mazerolle and Henriette Hebert, seen here with her two children Buster (Bernard) and Lonor (Leona). Yvonne was married to John Edward Henderson and settled in Pictou, Nova Scotia.

  • Residence of Olivier Mazerolle (born 1849), son of Germain and Christime Hache. Olivier married Chatherine Chamberland. This house is situated in Landry Office, near Pokemouch, N.B.

    NOTE: Four generations of Mazerolle have lived in this house

  • Photo of Jeremie Mazerolle (born 1835), son of Germain and Christine Hache. He married Elizabeth Lebreton and had 13 children. He is Donat's grand-father. Donat is one of 5 Mazerolle who gathered in Riviere-du-Portage to organize the first Mazerolle reunion, therefore one of the Mazerolle of America Association pionneers.

  • Photo of David Mazerolle’s family. David was born in 1858 to parents Thaddee and Marie-Blanche Godin. He later married Caroline Brun and lived in the Bouctouche, NB area.

  • The residence of Oliver Mazerolle (born 1890), son of Frederic and Adelaide Comeau. He married Alice Poirier and settled in Riviere-du-Portage. Olivier and Alice had 18 children with the youngest being Donald. Donald was also one of the 5 Mazerolle who gathered in Riviere-du-Portage to organize the first Mazerolle reunion in 1998. He was the founding president of the Mazerolle of America Association.

  • Donald Mazerolle born in 1947, passed away in 2008.

  • Photo of the residence of Clement Ferguson, married to Celina Mazerolle (born 1874). She was the daughter of Philomene Lebreton. They lived in Riviere-du-Portage.

    Guillaume Mazerolle (born 1870), son of Lazare Mazerolle and Philomene Lebreton of Riviere-du-Portage. He lived in Riviere-du-Portage a number of years and then immigrated to Sandford, Maine where he lived a few years and then finally settled in Hartford Connecticut.

    Simeon Mazerolle (born 1870) son of Francois-Xavier Mazerolle and Marie Helene Rousselle. Simeon is the grand-father of Robert Mazerolle, one of the 5 Mazerolle who gathered in Riviere-du-Portage in 1998 to organize the first Mazerolle reunion. Founding member of the Mazerolle of America Association.

  • Residence of Jeremie Mazerolle (born 1872) in Inkerman, NB. Jeremie was the son of Francois-Xavier Mazerolle and Marie-Helene Rousselle of Riviere-du-Portage. He was married the first time to Catherine Robichaud et a second mariage to Lydia Power. Jerememie is the grand-father to Charles Mazerolle, current president of the organizing committee for the 2009 Mazerolle reunion in Inkerman, NB.

  • Residence of Auguste Mazerolle (born 1875), son of François-Xavier and Marie-Hélène Rousselle. He maried Hélène Rousselle and lived in Rivière-du-Portage.

  • House on the left and barn on right belonged to Jacques (Jim) Mazerolle (born 1884), son of François-Xavier andt Marie-Hélène Rousselle. He maried Zerila Savoie and lived in Rivière-du-Portage.

    Allard Mazerolle is Jacques’ son and this is where the second gathering of the 1998 organizing committee was held. Present at the first gathering were Rodrigue Mazerolle, Donald Mazerolle and Noel Mazerolle. Those at the second gathering were Rodrigue Mazerolle, Donald Mazerolle, Donat Mazerolle and Robert Mazerolle. The third gathering was at the Restaurant Dixee in Brantville, NB. It is here that a committee was established to organize the 1998 reunion and therefore where the Mazerolle of America Association was born.

    Allard’s sons Noel and Roger are very involved in the Association with Roger being is current president.
